Marirí is a potent Rapé from the Shawadawa tribe, made from the ashes of the Banisteriopsis caapi vine, called Marirí by some of the Pano-speaking tribes, who also call the drink Mariri.

Some of the tribes in the upper Jurua region use mainly the bark to make the drink, and ashes from the rest of the vine to make Rapé.

Marirí has ​​a structure of woody stems that climb up trees, and large leaves that can reach 18 cm in length.
